Pre-Pay natural gas plan from Georgia Natural Gas®

Offer available only to qualified new residential customers who enroll on GNG’s Pre-Pay plan between 03/05/2025 and 04/04/2025 on Georgia Gas Savings. GNG’s MARCH 2025 published Pre-Pay Plan price is $2.269 per therm, which may change or may remain the same monthly. $0.15/therm discount on gas consumed available for a total of 12 consecutive months, provided customer remains on the selected price plan during the applicable period and pays all charges billed by the date due or discount maybe cancelled, in which case customer will continue to be billed at the selected price plan rate without any discounts. Under the Pre-Pay plan, customer pays in advance for service. Although no deposit is required for this plan, an initial payment is required before service can begin. This variable price plan does not require a contract. After the first 6 months on this plan, if, at this point, you have timely payment history, you’ll receive a $3.00/bill credit as long as you stay on any pre-pay plan and maintain timely payment history. After 12 consecutive months of timely payment history, you may be eligible to change to another plan for which you qualify. Each month customer’s bill will go through a true-up process where GNG will compare customer’s pre-pay amount to their actual charges and then apply the difference to customer’s bill. In addition, if customer’s bill becomes past due, their service is subject to disconnection five days after the due date on their bill. GNG calculates the pre-pay amount using the following information -- the current price per therm, the customer service charge, all applicable AGL charges and the amount of gas used at the address during the same timeframe last year. If that amount of gas is not available for the calculation, GNG will use Atlanta Gas Light’s monthly estimate for a typical customer’s usage to calculate the Estimated Pre-Pay amount. A one-time Welcome Credit of $40.00 will be reflected in your pre-pay amount. This one-time-only credit will be itemized on a subsequent bill along with any connection charges if applicable.
